About API Keys
An API key connects Staffology Payroll to a third-party service through Connected Services, where the third-party service needs a Staffology-generated key to complete the connection.
An API key gives full access to the payroll account. Treat it like a password, and do not share it with anyone.
Generate a key

Select your username or initials.

Select API Keys.

Enter a name for the key, then select Create Key.
To remove a key, select Remove.
You can only see the API keys that you created. You cannot see keys created by other users.
Who can manage API keys
Access to the API Keys section depends on the role assigned.
- An Operator cannot view or manage API keys. The API Keys section is not visible to an Operator.
