Assign a Work Pattern to an employee

  1. Sign in to Staffology HR.

  2. Go to Directories , select the required employee and select Edit.

    You can also select the edit icon displayed on the employee's name:

  3. Choose Contract.

  1. In the Work Pattern dropdown, select the required pattern from the list displayed.

  2. The Work Pattern type determines if you need to add a Work Pattern Start date:

    • The system knows Fixed 7-Day patterns start on a Monday and run through to Sunday, after which the process begins again, so there is no need to enter a Work Pattern Start date.

    • For a Non-Fixed pattern, select a Work Pattern Start date to set when the pattern starts. After you have entered the date, the system can determine the weekday and the pattern sequence to apply to the absence When an employee or worker is absent from work. This can be for a variety of reasons. duration calculation.

      Changing the Work Pattern to Hours does not change the Holiday Entitlement into the hours equivalent in the employee's Contract tab. You must calculate this manually and update it.

      You can change an employee's work pattern from hours to days or vice versa in the same holiday year, but you must delete the existing records and re-enter the information once you have made the change.
