Assigning appraisals to employees

Depending on your internal processes, either system administrators or line managers can assign appraisals to employees.

When assigning appraisals to employees, you must select the appropriate template from the list in the employee's Perform tab.

You can then customise the chosen template. For example, you may add tasks and objectives specific to individual employees.

Any changes you make do not affect the original template.

This table outlines a typical appraisal process. The employee and line manager stages can be repeated more than once during a single appraisal process.

  • Select the appraisal template and assign it to one or more employees (individually or globally).

  • If required, customise the template (for example, change the alias to include year, and/or add specific objectives).

Employee

 

  • Access the appraisal template from the employee's Perform tab.

  • Add information.

  • Change the status and submit it to the line manager.

Line manager

 

  • Access the appraisal form containing the employee’s information from the employee’s Perform tab.

  • Review the employee’s information and add their information.

  • Change status to Complete after adding all information.
