Release payslips earlier than scheduled

If employees are paid early, for example at Christmas, payslips may need to be available sooner than the scheduled delay.

To do this, the Payslip Release Timing setting must be changed before the pay run is finalised in Staffology Payroll. What to do depends on the current value in the Days field.

Before making changes

Check the current value in Days. If it is already blank, no action is needed. Payslips become available as soon as the pay run is finalised in Staffology Payroll.

If payslips do not need to be released early, you do not need to do anything.

Change Payslip Release Timing settings

  1. Go to System Tools, select Utilities.
  2. Select Payroll, then select Staffology Payroll.
  3. From Company Integrations, select the relevant company.

  1. Change the value in Days:

    • If Days is set to 0 or a value of 1 or more and employees need payslips as soon as the pay run is finalised, delete the value so Days is blank.
    • If Days is set to a value of 1 or more and employees need payslips on the payment date, enter 0 in Days.
  2. Save the changes.
  3. After the early pay run is complete and the payslips have been made available, Days must be updated to the previous settings before the next pay run is finalised. If this is not done, the current settings for the early payslips are applied to all future pay runs.
