An overview of Set Rights.

A definition of Set Rights
Set Rights are the permissions you allocate to employees to control:

Whose records they can see in the system (‘who’).

The information they can see in those records (‘what’).
Default rights for all employees
As standard, all new employees added into the system receive default Set Rights, including access to:

View their My Details information.

Basic information in Directories, such as the employee's name and their line manager.

Who’s off today (shown on an employee's homepage) across the company but not the absence When an employee or worker is absent from work. This can be for a variety of reasons. type.
Employees cannot access the Group Absence Calendar unless you create a Team Where Clause Allows you filter records using a specific criteria. for them.
