Managing candidates and the recruitment process

Your system access for viewing and managing candidates depends on your user role (see Configure user access to the Recruitment module )

  • Recruitment managers have full access to candidate information and can use the Candidates tab for each vacancy from Recruit to:

    • View candidates who have applied for vacancies and the stage they have reached in the recruitment process.

    • Move candidates to the next stage of the recruitment process (or a stage suggested by hiring managers or candidate reviewers).

    • Add new candidates (speculative candidates and/or candidates who have not applied via your recruitment website).

    • Use Actions to delete candidates or move them to different vacancies.

    • Generate mail merges to send information (for example, interview invitations) to candidates.

  • Other internal user types (hiring managers and candidate reviewers) can view information about candidates for their vacancies from the Vacancies tab in the system. Users with appropriate access can suggest the next stage in the recruitment process for candidates.

  • External agents have view-only access to details for their candidates and their progress through recruitment stages for vacancies allocated to them.

Stages move candidates through the recruitment process; Actions do not move candidates.
