Reporting on appraisals

Use the following options in System Tools > Exports & Reports > Perform to report on appraisal activity:

  • Completed Analysis

  • Rating Analysis

Use the Employee Selector

To include only certain employees in the report:

  1. Sign in to Staffology HR.

  2. Go to System Tools > Exports & Reports > Perform.

  3. Choose Actions > Employee Selector.

  4. Use the fields shown on the screen to filter the employee results.

  5. The Results list updates.

  6. To add the employees to the selector, choose Select All.

  7. Select Close to activate the employee selector and choose the required report.

Completed Analysis

The Completed Analysis report produces the same information as the Rating Analysis, but provides the option to see the status and responses of the perform records.

It also runs against all perform records, whether complete or not. Depending on the information inputted, the outcome of the report varies.

The different outcomes are:

  • Output 1: If you complete Date From and Date To, the report displays a Name and Completed Date report, but if you select Include Responses, the report changes to Output 3.

  • Output 2: If you leave Date From and Date To blank, the report lists columns for all dates.

  • Output 3: If you select Includes Responses (with or without dates), this displays the comments against the perform items.

If you select Completed Date, the record filters on Completed Date rather than Date From and Date To.

For this report, you can select:

  • A date range (or select Completed Date).

  • The appraisal templates, groups, and items you want to report on.

  • Choose to include responses.

Rating Analysis

This report provides a summarised overview of how employees' ratings compare to the required ratings. The report only works on completed Perform records and compares the ratings given to/by an employee to the *Required Rating* (target) of the item.

The report lists the employee/manager/overall rating, the Required Rating, and the percentage of the Required Rating that each chosen rating has achieved.

For this report, you can select:

  • The appraisal templates, groups, and items you want to report on.

  • Advanced settings. For example, a date range and/or whether to include leavers.
